Just out of curiosity, how much does it cost to have a ITR motor rebuilt?
New bearings, rings, etc.

 

not another one of these. call around and ask for prices.. then add about $200-300 for labor.. unless u put it together yourself.. i built an LS block, cost me about 3K. and im building an ITR head with JUN3 cost about 3K.. and this is withouth purchase of block or head

depends on how deep of a rebuild you need to do.

New rings and bearings is about 250-275. But there are some seals and o-rings you should replace while you are at it. so add another 100 bux.

Then there is labor. If you drop your car off and have it completely done by the dealer or a shop, it can easily go into the thousands in labor alone. The motor has to be pulled and completely taken apart.

Then you will need to get your block honed at the very least, and possibly bored if you need to go oversized.

There are too many variables to give a definitive answer.
