Default Shift Linkage!

So I'm doing an LS swap into my EF and I have a DA I picked up that I'm taking the motor out of. So I know I need hasports to do it and I can take everything out of the integra including wire harness etc, therefore do not have to worry about wiring problems if I wire everything is it was in the integra. The only problem I'm not sure about is the shift linkage. Can I use the shift linkage off the DA or do I have to buy the hasport Shift Linkage?

The DA one can be modified to work, but it is definitely not a bolt-up 'n go. Most people get the HASport or Innovative kits that come with mounts and shift linkage stuff.

From What I have heard. You need as hasport shift linkage if you have a crx, but if you have a hatch they will bolt right up. FACT OR MYTH?

Cut the DA linkages 2-3" in the middle areas. Weld and they'll work.

how accurate is that measurement? the other day someone said 1 3/4", then someone said 2 7/16", now you say 2-3 inches. i personally have hasport, but for someone who NEEDS to know this, there sure is a pretty broad range of lengths being told.
