Hello there people here is my guess you can say new problem went and bought a new intake manifold(Hp intake manifold by whirlwind for b16a and b18c5) after i install this in the car would idle fine but when i actually go and drive it it makes a chirping noise like there's a bird under my hood....It only does this when press on the gas pedal hard, the thing is it never did this with the stock manifold, the only thing that i notice that was different was after installation i had to adjust the gas cable that goes to the throttle body, for some reason it got really tight and the gas was really sensitive. So my question is can that make that chirping noise? Oh and i'm still using my old throttle body on hte new intake manifold, will that cause it to chirp? Any help would be appreciated thx

 

You probably have a leak at the IM to cylinder head junction. Make sure you have a good gasket, manifold studs that are long enough, and torque the nuts properly.
