Not sure about a company that just throws your name up on there site without asking. I was wonder were I was getting all these calls from
http://www.asianwolf.com/car-alarm-installers.html

Its better then nonething. I would say look at any dei alarm or compustar. Remember the alarm is only as good as the install.

What the Christ at these feature lists, I have difficulty taking them serious. Pretty sure I just woke someone up in the house.

I've always been curious about AsianWolf. I'd personally not install their stuff, but would like to see how/if they hold up at all. You should probably install this as practice or something. I wonder if the fact that no one posts about their products on these boards is a negative sign.

Please don't go to cartoys. Cartoys blows ***. Every time I've been in there no one knows what the **** they are talking about and all they do is try to sell me something I don't want and I don't need.
Find somewhere else to go.

back in like 2004 i bought an alarm from asianwolf and it worked out great. but then again, it was also a DEI pager alarm/remote start. from the looks of it, they no longer carry DEI products. thats a bummer.

yea for sure im not worried man. it will do the job i need it to. an alarm wont prevent a thief from breaking in if they truly want in. but this will suffice for sure.

I had the car alarm installed a few days ago... so far so good.. the alarm is actually extremely bad ***. I didn't do the remote start feature because it just takes 1 time of leaving the car in gear till your **** is ****ed LOL! but over all great alarm so far ill keep this thread updated.. as of now i definately recommend this car alarm... but we'll see how it goes over some time.. ill make a youtube video of its feature.. to the guy that said has a gay miata looking thing... its actually kinda bad ***.. when someone tries to break into my car it pages the remote on my key chain and it has things on the picture with the car that shows whats happening.. say someone is breaking in through the door it says door and has an arrow pointing to which door is being tampered with.. same thing with the hood.. as well as the trunk.. has a auto kill which was a nice feature. hood pin thing for incase someone knows how to bypass and open the hood it will set it off via trigger.. its actually really nice and i am extremely pleased right now. ill post a video on youtube since i looked for weeks for a video of someone using this alarm and found none so i guess ill throw one up. laterz

Wow, I'm shocked you think the stealership is better than most regular shops... the only install I trust is my own, past that I'd have to watch them install the whole thing to be sure they didn't ghetto rig it (I've uninstalled several alarms and see some ghetto ways of attaching the wiring...).

My ebay 100 buck Fox alarm had the "reserve mode" for remote start for manuals: you have to follow a shut down proceedure involving pushing the clutch in while the engine is running, applying the e-brake, disengaging the clutch and exiting the vehicle, it'd then run like a turbo timer and shut the car off on it's own. This way the brain knew it was still in neutral before it attemted remote start (this doesn't defeat open window shiter movement but I think the motion detector would set that off..). Aside from the onboard relay assembly and the lack of any support I almost used this alarm..
