I advanced my timing a bit and i don't remember if this is normal or not but the maint. light blinks on and off for like maybe 20 seconds then shuts off, is this a problem, isn't it supposed to stay on if there is a problem?

No, reset the light itself with square button under steering column and to the right.

ill go reset that light now i guess lol
