My car got to 151K and it lit the maintenance needed light?
Is this something I should pay attention to? I think it's just scripted, like when you need certain replacements?
Like say if that means I need to replace the timing belt at 151K, but I changed it a couple of weeks ago? How do I remove it?

are you talking about the actual light (top arrow) or the little red thing (bottom arrow) if its the top one than that means you have a actual problem and should check your codes. if it is the bottom one as far as i understand it changes with mileage so you know when to do routine maintenance and can be reset by stick a key or something on that little black dimple to the left of it. kinda like your trip counter
as far as wither not to do your timing belt check it visually. it's not to hard to get to or take it to a shop don't imagine that it should be terribly expensive since it is easy to get to
