Hey, im still new to the Honda scene and i have a few questions about b16A obd0 ... a while back where i live a guy had one that was beating pretty much most your street cars then he went and sold it and only mods this car had was intake header and type r cams this car was beating 350z srt-4 and such guess my question is do type r cams make that much of a difference cuss i seen on here alot of yous say a b16 ef will only run like 15s which to me dont add up if the 99si was running 15s like i said i dont know whole lot but if some one could share the correct information i would appreciate that

b16s put down good power at high rpms thats where most honda motors get there power there high revving engines, about the type r cams i dont have experience with them, but if u can go ls/vtec

with 154 and 109 ftlbs to the wheels i could beat on g35's and beat an srt-4 once. Typically it was a drivers race (in the sense that if i drove good enough i'd win)

unless you're a total fatass, or suck at driving a good, strong b16a should motivate an ED chassis into the 14's.

It's all benchracing though really...

Stock with bolt-ons i ran 14.5 with full interior .(tires rt615 205/50/15)
W/ type r cams prolly can go 13's

that seems like something i might want to look in to sounds like a decent daily driver for pennys
