long story short, i found slight coolant leak by the rear mount in my rhd EG civic after swapping in the motor. at the time, i tried to pull off the hoses with a pair of pliers, and without realizing it, deformed the aluminum (??) tubing that comes from the heater core. oh, btw this is the automatic climate control.. not the mechanical one.



i tried one of these clamps, and still no dice. couldnt really think of anything else i could do... the hoses are friggen stuck on there good.



since the dash was already out, i pulled the heater core. now this is my question. for those who have removed their EG heater core, does the RHD and the LHD core look similar? i dont know where the hell i am gonna find a replacement if they are not the same...!!!!




If worst comes to worst, i was thinking about removing the hoses, and do a backyard repair job.... but i dont know with what. Any recommendations?
