Strup Header
I assume you are talking about the imitation JDM ITR 4-1. I picked up a stainless steel one for $150 bux on ebay a year or so ago... I still haven't installed it so i dont know how well the holes on the flange match up with the head but this is what i have noticed.
The runners are welded on top of the flange and it isnt a smooth transition..I spent over an hour grinding material off the backside of the flange (not the head side) to make a smooth(er) transition from flange to runner.
The collector isnt that great either but hell for $150...i cant complain. you get what u pay for
1 decent thing about this header is the runners are staggered so they dont meet up as a perfect square and give it a lil bit of clearance (compared to a 4-1 with the runners stacked directly on top of each other....I was thinking about putting a new collector on it but it would have to be staggered as well
