So i changed the intake manifold on my b16a from the stock to a itr intake manifold and tb combo. I got it all hooked up, started the car, and its revving up to 4 grand and coming back down. revving up, coming down and it keeps doing that. What might be the problem? Hopefully i didnt hook up some tubes to a wrong spot.....

 

So you used an ITR throttle body? Most of the time the ITR throttle body is missing the vacuum nipple on the top. Do you have a pic of how you hooked it up?

 

Sounds like a vacuum leak.

 

It does sound like a vac leak. Mine was doing that the other day and it turned out to be the vac line coming off the back of the intake manifold going to the cruise control! Good luck

 

Yeah, check whether all the vacuum connections are hooked up and whether the IM or throttle body gasket is leaking.
