okay i have a 1992 honda accord lx. and the d4 light is blinking it will go in first gear shift hard into second. then iafter it get in secong it just lags and i have to floor it and it slowly goes like it dont have power at all. three of the sparkplugs are burnt could that be the problem.

 

check transmission fluid

 

okay checked it i put more in thier the lucas brand but it still feel the same

 

It could be the tranmission brain, i believe it acts up,so you should replace it ,and it might fix the problem .its a common accord problem in those years.

 

what is the brain called

 

There is the ecu, which is for the car,and theres another unit next to the ecu on the passenger floor, and thats for the automatic tranmission,and it controls the automatic transmission.So you should try changing that unit,and see if it fixes the blinking,and shifting issues you have.

okay when i was driving again it seems like it goes from first gear skip second and and go right to third gear
