I just bought a set of Volk GR-Cs. the problem is my friend told me they use specific Volk lugs. He said they need the Volk inverted lugs that are used by the Volk GT-C and AV3. Is this true for my GR-Cs? Can I not use my Kics R40 or Rays Formula lugs?

 

I know the GT-C's require a special nut because there holes are so small. I'm not sure about the GR-C's though. Guss I'm no help... If you have the wheels and nuts you should be able to try it.

I emailed Mackin Industries hoping they could help out and Phil from Mackin sent this:

"It should use any 17/19mm hex open end lug nut.

is that the same as an inverted lug nut

 

The 17/19mm hex is what is used for removing/installing the lugs. You can get inverted style lugs from gorilla through your local discount tire. Just ask them for the small diameter et style. They cost me 30 for a complete set. Here's a link to gorilla's site for ref and part numbers
