What injectors to use????
The general rule is 5cc/whp. Using that equation you can figure out the amount of total injector flow you'll need for your power goal. Keep in mind, this is just a guesstimate to get you close.
250whp x 5cc/whp = 1250cc total
1250cc / 4 injectors = 312.5cc
That means that you should be good with a set of 370cc injectors; however, i would go with a slightly bigger injector than you think. You always want to leave a little leeway so that you dont limit yourself on the dyno. I would suggest a set of RC440s or DSM 450s. That way if you want more power in the future, you have enough injector to meet your needs. When i built my first setup, i was aiming for 300whp and got a set of 550s. They worked nicely and idled fine. You dont have to concern yourself with lumpy idle if you go to a good tuner. I'm now running 1000's in the spring...they may be a tad lumpier than stock, but a good tuner can make it work.
