is the muffler on this the same as a 98+ gs-r?just the muffler? thanks

They look similiar but its different. On the 98 gsr muffler there is a bolt under the chrome tip. On the type R muffler the tip is welded on. The type r Tip is large enough to slip over the gsr tip.

Its also different inside as well the type R muffler flows 30% better. Probably nothing you would notice.
