Also, the motor that made the most power ran a GSR crank.

and stock rods with wrist pin bushings installed. That's weird stuff.
But they used AEM standalone and itbs on that motor as oposed to skunk2 were using their old intake manifold and old hondata.

IIRC, some competitors called foul when they showed up with that ITB/AEM standalone combo.

not really man. if a stock rod is plenty for 250-300hp, and its lighter than a h-beam rod and a hell of a lot cheaper than a crower maxi-light (possibly still lighter than that too) then it makes great sense to stick a forged piston on it.

Because our parents have a cruel sense of humor and just referred to him as "the smart one". Steve R. is one of the coolest, most honest, straight-foward guys I know. And he knows how to use a bore gauge, as shown in the above pic, which puts him above about 99% of HT.

Steve R has helped me more than anyone when it comes to B stuff. guy even came over to my house once when i was having trouble. getting cam timing right on a heavily milled head. gave him a throttle body, which he used to fashion the linkage on those ITBs he made.

man i wish those would have hit the market with that unified map vacuum source built in. talk about a self-tuner's dream.
