automatic vs. standard engine harness
Long story short, Im swapping some motors around in a few of my cars. This one is going into an EG. Problem is Ive got an LS automatic engine harness that came with a motor/trans I picked up cheap, Im not using the auto trans and its going into a manual car.
What are the differences? obviously the harness has an extra plug for the trans, and it looks like the map sensor plug is built into the harness, whereas on my manual harness it is not, The plug comes out from under the battery tray. and no it is not the tps plug, that one is already plugged in.
I didnt really think it was going to be an issue until I discovered the map sensor plug today. So I thought I would verify this.
Any help is appreciated

after thinking about this in the shower for a few minutes, I think I figured out my dilema....The swap has been in there for about 8-9 years, damn it doesnt seem that long,lol....anyways I think I used my original eg engine harness and that would explain the 2 extra plugs down next to the speed sensor, and the map sensor plug on the harness. any input is still welcome though.
Just to explain the MAP sensor plug. '92 - '93 civics that came stock with the D15B7 (DX/LX in the US, CX/DX/LX/EX in Canada) used a firewall mounted MAP sensor, these models have the harness for the MAP sensor as a seperate harness. All '94- '95 models and all '92 - '93 civics that had anything but a D15B7 use a throttlebody mounted MAP sensor with the MAP sensor wiring integrated into the engine harness
