It's more commonly referred to as "e-mangle." It doesn't provide enough parameters to really dial in a reliable tune for all conditions. I'd personally avoid it like the plague, but some people seem to enjoy it.

I'd spend the money on KPro or wouldn't bother with an EMS at all.

I absolutely LOVE the greddy E-manage. I have it in my 350Z. I pulled only 224whp, after I got the Greddy e-manage and tuned it, I pulled 279, stock everything else.

I have k-pro for my K20r, though they're on 2 different cars, I definately feel they are comparable. Both gave significant gains, but then again the guy who tuned my car is awesome.

In short, its quite typical to hear "K-pro all the way" on the honda forums, wihtout any basis, but really, Greddy's E-manage is quite impressive!

It's a piggy-back system.

Yeah I'll be running Emanage again very soon. I just bought a plug and play harness from Boomslang.

i hear ya on that. for some reason, they only suck on the D17. For the F20c and F22c, the can gain up to 20whp from just a tune from STOCK.

What is your budget? Spent over $1000 on a K-Pro for just 5-10whp more than the E-Manage is a lot for someone that doesn't have that money? I know 5-10whp is around $500, but you can start with the E-manage and learn, then upgrade to K-Pro if you think so. If people spent in reflashing K-series why not spent in an E-manage and tune yourself?

I have it on my 01 civic with some mods and it do the work. At WOT the A/F was around 12-12.5:1 (AEM wideband) and 10:1 with 60hp shot. When lean it, I get A/F of 13.5-14:1 and 11.5-12:1 on NOS. At the dyno it could be tuned even better. Also resetting the ECU the tuning remain...

Also I have to tell that it doesn't work for fuel on idle. If you change the mixture (lean or rich) at idle, after few seconds the stock ECU correct the idle at around 14.5-15.0:1 or even 16.
