Need help, 90 model front wheel stud broken
hey guys, i bought a 90 ex a few months ago to be my daily driver cause i'm always building on my 95 gsr, well the accord started popping the front left axles so i changed it yesterday, in the process of removing the lug nuts, one was very hard to remove.
Well i broke the stud , and when i got done with the axle i started looking at the stud, and it is different from my other hondas, in that it looks like its only in a little plate that can be easily removed, so i removed the 4 bolts to find out the plate is attached to the bearing, so this sucks! is there any way to remove the knuckle and get to the stud or will the wheel bearing have to be pressed out? does anyone know? surely this is common on this car because its older, so what do you guys do?

yea i have the actual honda accord shop manual on disc and i can't find it in there, guess i'm just looking in all the wrong places.
here is a picture, looks easy to do but that plate is connected to wheel bearing... you can see the plat mounted to the rotor, the studs are in the plate, unlike other hondas i've had, eg's and dc2's which they go through the rotor. I unbolted the plates 4 bolts and its still attached to wheel bearings. Yes before anyone ask i did remove the axle nut! The picture just shows it back together...

Here I come to save the day..........
if you take the caliper off
line up the broken stud where the the caliper whould be
take a hammer and smack the stud it will pop out the other side
to install you will need a punch to strike the back of the stud through the hole
presto your done.....and your welcome

ha i think taking the caliper off, knocking the old out and putting the new in took a whole 5-6 minutes.. though i used and open nut to pull it through, yea i imaging i could have stretched the bolt doing this but i was slow and careful and apparently got the job done, i'm glad someone out there found the simple solution to this!

before that trick was known those were considered the worst of the worst to change now they are the easiest to the ones that know......not everyone knows still.
anyone have an easy solution to change the rotors?
thats the same setup as my 95 accord and i have warped rotors on mine.. i thought it was going to be easy like my integra and civic hatch.. nope.. so now i have new rotors sitting.. i have half a mind to go down to local repair shop and have them do it.. i dont feel like pressing bearings in and out.
