gauge cluster is out
took thee prelude in to be alighned yesterday and as soon as i got thee car back....thee check engine light is on, sequential shift side of tranny is out, thee auto tranny isn't even shifting at thee proper points, thee gaurge cluster is completely dead, thee clock is out, thee windows wont role up, and i cant shift it into park unless i throw into neutral and shut off thee car......they throw it back on thee rack and checked all thee wiring...i have a neuspeed sport drop so i thought they might have gotten something caught on thee lift.......im havin it towed to honda tomorrow morning but i was wondering if anybody had any idea what might have happened so i have some idea before then.......id appreciate it....i have a feeling thee entire problem is based on thee gauge cluster being out.....i also had a rebuilt level 10 thrown into it about 2 months ago just in case that might be an issue.....although the car was workin perfectly fine before i took it in....thanks for your time.......
lol...well thanks for thee reply anyways.....im sittin here on my monday morning waiting for thee car to be towed out of thee garage.....( my damn windows won't go up and i hardly believe that its drivable).......but i will post thee problem when i find out just in case anyone else runs into thee same difficulties......
you could always pop open the fuse box under the hood and see if anything is messed up there. I know the main power fuse for the clock, radio, windows, and gauge cluster is under the hood. (atleast it was on the integra). Go check it to see if it has blown.
we already checked thee fuses.....but thanks anyway....i really appreciate thee help.....for some reason however, thee radio was working just fine.....odd....isnt it?
