Oh, the question on which size tire to use for drag racing. This question is as old as the chicken or the egg question. Since it is a radial, the size of the side wall shouldn't matter because you're not going to be getting any tire crinkle.

Common sense tells me that the more rubber in contact with the pavement at any given point in time, the better traction you will be getting; HOWEVER, maximum traction is not always a good thing for reasons I will not go into. For 210 WHP, you might be fine with the 205, but then again, that DA is pretty heavy, you might want more traction than that. What kind of axles do you have? If they're stock, just go with the 205s.

I personally ran MH slicks on my hatch on stock axles making 183 WHP back when I had LS/VTEC doing redline RPM launches. Then again, my axles werent trying to pull a car as heavy as yours. Just be careful. Is this your daily driver?

Come to think about it, just pick up a set of steelies with slicks and throw them in the trunk and put them on when you get to the track. that's what I did. Might want to bring a toolbox and an extra set of axles if you're planning to drive there. Haha. I busted an axle once with the LS/VTEC, but then again I'm making way more power now with boost, and I haven't busted one yet, so I dunno that's a tough question. In all honesty, I really don't think it will make much of a difference either way.

why not just run slicks instead of drag radials? a 22" would probably be fine?
