well its been a while since i've posted here. but i decided this week that i wanted to go wingless, so i sold my "Mugen" wing. getting my hatch filled/resprayed on monday!

I like it. JDM fronts look weird without a lip though. Actually most if not all Honda's look funny to me without some sort of lip. Its like looking a person with no chin.

 

Looks good wingless. I wouldn't run the center caps. Nothing against Rota's, the caps just don't look right.

and notice i put mugen in quotations, because it wasnt an authentic mugen wing. looked just like it though, only difference was that it had a fiberglass centerpiece and not an aluminum one. i liked it, but IMO my car looks a LOT cleaner/better without it. wingless FTW. and i will be getting a Type R lip this month

sorry, but those rims look awful. & the reason why the wing didnt look right is because you had nothing in front to balance it out. if you had a lip, sideskirts & rear valences, it wouldve looked a lot better. cant just have an aggressive wing like that w no other exterior mods besides, loud, & i mean LOUD rims. car looks better now because its clean & simple. but id still change those rims

and yes i realize that the wing would have looked MUCH better with the mods you mentioned, but i honestly would rather keep it wingless, get a type r lip, and call it quits on the exterior FOR NOW. i'm only 17 years old, and have been out of work for about 5 months now due to a torn acl and meniscus (football, 3rd game of senior season)...so money hasnt been exactly "flowing" in nearly as much as it used to. I personally like the rims, they are my "starter" rims. Later down the road, i will get different, more "baller" wheels. but for now, my rota's will do the job.

car looks good but will be better when you fill that void in the front

i have money for that, because i sold my wing and have made a little money here and there doing landscaping jobs. i WILL have the lip painted and on my car by the end of this month.
