im planning on building my ls vtec with stroker kit 95mm,i been building my own engine with honda specs but i never built one with stroker kit high comp i also have a ARP mainstud for the main i just need some info on the bearing oil clerance,ring gap,crankshaf endplay.thanks

 

if you use the arp mainstuds it is to my understanding that you need to align hone the block. for the other specs, all are found in the helms manual or literature that comes with the pistons etc that you buy

 

i would use the bearing clearance needed for an engine that revs like a true vtec motor and not an LS.

you will, in fact, need to have the mains line honed if you get the main studs. You dont really need them anyway.

 

but i already bought the main studs,so just get the main caps and get it honed is that what you mean?

 

i guess i should just used my oem main bolts.
