Default Flushing out brake fluid! help!

Im planning to flush out my brake fluid from my car cuz its been in there for about 4 years with the help of my brother. i just need to know how many bottles of brake fluid needed and wut kind of brake fluid? example: dot 3, 4 5..?

o yah, my car is a 1996 civic ex coupe.

DOT 3 or 4. Not 5. DOT 4 has slightly higher boiling temps. Probably need 3 of the small bottles. I cant remember what size they are. Its cheap and its worth using some extra to make sure theres no air in the lines.
