Not exactly straight trade. I'm trying to get out of a car payment due to wanting to buy a home. I dont want to get rid of the IX I just dont see any other way to cut back on expenses.

Also, i've considered myself a honda guy and still do. I still kick myself for selling my em1 a few years ago.

I still owe on the car and dont have the title in hand. What I owe is less than its appraisal worth.

If anyone is interested in taking over payments on the Evo, just let me know.
Its still in excellent condition and has NEVER been abused. Never launched never raced. Only a handful of spirited runs through angeles crest hwy when I was visiting family in cali. Currently has 48k in daily driven miles since March 2006.

Mod list and pics HERE.

you owe a little less than what its worth, how would a trade for an ITR come in to play?

Comes into play because in the past I've been offered an Integra type R as payment with no cash attached for them to simply take over payments for the evo. And a few months after that offer was asked again for a trade by someone else for an ITR. I figured I'd ask here. I know i'm aiming high but i'm not going to get into a different car that I dont like.

Yeah I don't see anyone giving up an R and taking on another 20k in payments. That would come to almost 35k.

I'd do a straight trade in a second, but no money on top.

I would definitely do a trade with no cash on top of the R but you have to realize that you would be taking over whats left of the payments.....

Also, I know it seems like I would be the only one benefiting but the Evo is un-molested (except for the tasteful suspension and wheel mods) and never abused or over revved. Something one never truly knows when thinking of getting into a used Evo.

I'm not looking for money on top. I'm just posting here to see if anyone is willing to trade for an Evo, of course it depends on if the condition of your trade also. The IX is in excellent condition and I would hope the trade is in the same condition with a clean title/no accidents.

What I ment was CAR for CAR, no money involved weather that be cash or taking over payments.
The only thing I can see is that you are just looking to get out of payments and into a cheaper car. In this world I don't blame you, but it's not going to happen. Understanding that your car might be cherry and all, but taking on a $20,000 debt is ...
Most of our ITRs have been paid off for a long time (like Me) or not much left to go.
Not to sound like a elitest, but the R can never loose.

Not to mention the fact that you can get a brand new Evo X for less than 30-32k out the door with 0% APR. If a clean R is worth 15k, and you owe 20k, that's 35k total. I don't see how anyone makes the deal you are proposing.

I completely understand, and like i've said before i simply thought i'd ask on this forum. I wasnt expecting much, but thats not to say that i'm not serious about it though.

Not everyone can get that financing.

If I'm not mistaken, For someone to take over your payments legally ... they would have to apply for the loan through a bank.
