Default Intake Manifold

I have an F23 engine in my 98 Honda Accord. Im looking for an after market intake manifold for it but so far ive had no success... A. Are there any after market intake manifolds for my engine (skunk2??edelbrock??) B. If not, can i use an F22 or H22 one>>?? and if so would there be any benifits in doing so??

ive heard that the f23 manifold is a pretty good design.

some ppl who have my engine, f22b1, do the f23 manifold swap, others prefer the h22 manifold swap. not sure which is better between f23 and h22.

What do you mean by port it? and does the H22 one work then? because skunk 2 makes a nice intake manifold for the h22

Porting an IM involves opening up the ports to increase the overall amount of airflow (less restriction).


You'll have to do plenty of work to get an H-series IM to fit. To keep it simple, the ports just don't match up.

Let me share some common knowledge of honda engines.
Porting an intake give you minimal gains in airflow. It also kills low end power, it does give you better flow at high RPMs. So don't port anything unless you want to lose low RPM power to gain flow at high RPMs like a turbo setup, or drag racing N/A car.

But doing a 3 angle valve job increased flow by %30 or so. I read it in a magazine, don't remember which one. Probably grassroots motorsports.
