HELP, can there b HIGH PREASURE in system RADIATOR CAP ???

Default HELP, can there b HIGH PREASURE in system RADIATOR CAP ???

ok, can there be high preasure in the cooling system because of a defected radiator cap ?? how would that happen ??

becasue my houses are like going to blow with my old 1.1 cap but with the new its fine so how can a rad cap cause that ?

The radiator cap is designed to release pressure in the cooling system when it reaches a specified maximum level. I guess the radiator cap might fail to release pressure. My first thought, however, is that your head gasket may have blown.

yeah its new gasket fully rebuilt engine 200 miles ago, just i used my old rad cap, and now when i put the other one i found in the shop its preasure if fine.


so i guess its the rad cap. Thanks for explaining me ,thanks
