water pump help!!

Default water pump help!!

water is leaking/pouring from the driver side bottom of the motor. im thinking the water pump, but could it be anything else???

does anyone know if there is diagram somewhere i cant find one

it sounds like the water pump if its coming from the driver side... more info on what kind of motor, etc? but here is a diagram so you can get an idea.

If it looks, smells and feels like the anti-freeze in your cooling system's reservoir tank, most likely it is your water pump, indeed mounted on the lower driver's side of the engine.

Autozone.com has free online repair guides specific to your Honda. Look in the "Engine and Engine Overhaul" section for excellent drawings. bkhondaparts.com shows a little what the pump looks like, so you can go looking for it.

Water pumps fail. Just do not drive the car overheated, get the pump replaced and you will be good to go. You should consider changing the timing belt (and a few more items) while you're in there, since the interference removal for all these is the same and expensive time-wise.
