L.A sleeves are good. My friend runs them and never had problems.

I used them back in 02 or so. They worked fine. I had them installed in a F23. At the time no one made sleeves for this motor and nobody would custom make anything. L.A. made them at a very resonable price. Never had any problems with them.

^^^^^^^^^
I believe others where out there too (GE & Darton).

As for LA Sleeve, I've only heard bad things about them, so take for what's it worth.

La sleeve is a very good company and they actually manufacture sleeves for many of the import machine shops sleeving engines today. I have used over 100 sets from them without any issues. Alot of issues with sleeves have to do with their installation not the actual sleeve.
