Default Post up Your Cage!! What Kind of Cage are you running

I'm trying to get some ideas as to what kind of cage I would like to run in my drag orientated car.

1. How many points in the cage/ what are you running?
2. What is it made out of?
3. Who is it made by?
4. How much did you spend?
Thanks for the help. Lets ee some really nice cages

How fast will you be going? If you are going faster than 11.50 and slower then 9.99 then a 6 pt is all you need. If you are going faster than 9.99 and slower then 8.50 or 135mph or faster a 10pt will be needed among a few other things. Either way we can do anything you like.

I hate to ask because it's a random question, but what would NRGTech charge for a basic 6 point in a 1995 civic coupe that would like to keep full interior. I realize that you would have to cut holes in the panels which is fine. Ball park price is what I'm looking for.

i know miller does good work but quite frankly i don't have the amount of money for a cage that he wants. (not knockin the price) but i have a friend who will weld it at a super low price for me and it will save me a ton of cash. where are you guys getting the cromoly bars from Miller? and hey when did you ship out that manifold? i still haven't seen it yet

Let me know Blazed, we can get it turned around real fast these days. We now have 3 full time fabricators on hand to speed up the process.

In that case a 10point is what you are going to need, i try to tell people it is worth the wait to do the whole package rather then do it in bits and pieces. You will save money this way and you know it will be done right the first time around. In your case, we can button up the chassis then swing it right over on the dyno and kill 2 birds with one trip to ny.
