Default Idle Problem with p28 ecu!

okay i have a d16z6 motor when i bought my car it came with a p61 ecu. so today i swapped it out with a p28 ecu. Now when i first plugged it up the car was warm and the idle was fine. Now the car sat for a few hours in the cold when i started it back up the idle jumped to 3 grand and just keeps jumping between 3000 and 2500. what can i do to fix this?

Do you have any CEL's? If you do then pull the codes and see what they are. If you don't have any CEL's then, clean the IACV and FITV. There a plenty of how-to threads located in the FAQ. Most of the time, the erratic idle is from a dirty IACV.
