Default Question about fidanza flywheel....

Cleaning out the garage i found a brand new fidanza flywheel that i never used from my old 93 civic si. . . my question is now have a 2005 civic lx. Anyone know if the flywheel from a d16z6 bolts up with this motor... checked a couple websites and the fidanza for the 93 sohc and the 2005 sohc looks like they have the same number of bolts. . . . anyone know 1st hand if i can still use it?

thanks

Does the same part # justify its the same part therefore fits both applications?

If it's the same part number, it's essentially the same part. Therefore, it'll work in your D17.

haha, i know it was very obvious, but the excitement "stupided" me for a while. i remember driving in a friends integra back in the day with a lightened flywheel it was a delight to drive.... hopefully brings some life into the civic trans.

thanks

Well considering it's on the engine side of the clutch, it won't really do much of anything to your transmission. The only thing you'll notice is a slight change in throttle response.
