i was reading about the hondata reflash for my 05 and i saw that it did not recommend running a race header with it. Why would it be bad to run a race header with a reflash? Does anyone have a race header and reflash

 

maybe tuning or no CEL elimination :dontknw: ...in for answer thou

 

it's not bad at all. The reflash just isn't tuned for a race header thats all. I would instead of getting a race header just save up for K-pro. No two cars run the same so even a reflash isn't truly getting you the gains you could be getting with a true tune.

And with k-pro you can turn off the CEL second O2 code caused by a race-header

 

well i dont even have a cel woth the rh right now anyway, i just dont want to pay over a grand for tuning b/c i cant afford that.

 

Wasn't one of the reasons were running too lean or something like that with a reflash and race header?

 

its ok to run the reflash with bolt ons...its been proven on other site that you wont run rich or lean.
