Default Powder coated stock rims

I own a black 2007 EX and today I took the stock rims in to get powder coated gloss black. It's going to cost me $150. What do you think? good idea or bad idea?

If its already in the process of being done, why are you still asking for an opinion? A 150 bucks isn't much but if you don't end up liking the overall product you could have put that quantity towards some other wheels. I don't know, just my .02.

Glendale AZ huh? I'm going to school there.

Yup, Glendale. I'm actually getting it done at Glendale Powder Coating. They have really good rates. I think wheels are way over priced new and if I were to put anything over $500 in parts on any car it would be my 68 camaro. I just wanted it to be a little different and see what people thought of the idea.

Are you going to UTI? I know they have a campus out here. I bought my Honda Ruckus from that honda motorcycle dealer down the street from it.

That is a damn good price. I looked into it and settled on John Deere industrial paint. It has held up pretty good, no flaking after hitting some curbs anyway, lol.

I prefer a more flat black look. After seeing a post in the picture thread of a guy with an lx coupe with purple stock RSX wheels, I am thinking about changing the color up a bit/
