Best Street Drag Radial?
I've been using BFGs 225/50/15s At the low boost setting, 435whp, they would hold in 4th.
At the high boost setting, 530whp, I need to be in 5th for it to hold. The BFGs are now about 2 years old. I've heard good things about the MTs. Sounds like the only one that would work/fit is the older style tread design. The newer directional tread design with better side wall seems unavailable in a workable size for my 92 hatch/H22.

I was going to start a new threat but if you don't mind I'll ask in here. If this bothers you let me know and I'll edit it and delete it. But I've been looking into the M and H drag dot tires. These http://www.mandhtires.com/store.php?...on=show_detail I'm wondering if anyone has them and what they think about them on the street and track? The new Mickey Thompson drag radial II comes in a 225/50r15 http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/s...StreetRadialII
You got 2 years out of a set of BFGs?
haha, we wore a set out in a weekend..
I like the MTs if the car isnt going to be driven a whole lot, they sure do hook nice.
I considered the M&H dot slick looking tires but wasn't real sure how the car would react to turning and whatnot.. The last thing I want to do is fold a tire again. Any insight on anyone running these? I'm not wanting to do any hard cornering with these but just drive them on the street.
If the car is going to be driven a whole lot I like the Nitto 555rs, you have to give up some stickyness however for the longevity but they hook a whole lot better than any 'street' tire I've ever used and are a great medium between the MTs and a reg street tire. I got over 10k hard miles on a set of 555rs.
