its good for as much power as your gears can handle. ive asked them about this before, not TOO expensive for what it is i guess.

i have a set with liberty right now, just playing the waiting game. cost me under $800 for the gears to be converted, hubs, and sliders. 1st through 4th. ill be sure to jack up the boost, and test them as soon as they get here.

the advantages that im hoping for, reduce miss shifts. the cost is close to equal of replacing hubs, slider, syncros, locks, gears. just to replace 1-2 and 3-4 hub/slider/syncros with oem cost over $600. why not fork out the extra money to have an engagement thats designed to take the abuse?

i am concerned with how much tig welding the face plates will weaken an already weak gear. im relying on my handcuff to hold everything nice and tight. i guess we will just have to wait and see.

ive been helping my friend build his car. He ordered a new gearset. was told 3 weeks. ended up being a lil over 2 1/2 months. Constant excuses. and Horrible customer service on the phone. I remember hearing them on speaker phone a couple times.. Sorry were busy right now dont have time to track down your order... CLICK.. Hung up on.

Just hearing that made me not want to use there gears.

That's for a gearset. Little bit different that face plating gears....

I'm not sure when this was, but Liberty has gotten much better specifically within the last year.

I'd have to agree. I think they started ramping up production and been keeping the gears in stock.

Our first transmission took FOREVER to get, then within the last year, they did get better with release times on their products.

I have tried heat treating and other process' and it seems like the stock gears last the longest without any treatments at all.

probably the only main options would be cryotreating or the rem process.
