is this a common problem? i traced the wires and didn't see any breaks but half that **** is hidden. When i turn on the switch it doesnt defrost the rear window which is not a problem during the summer. But its a beeyotch on teh cold wet days

 

does the light come on for the defroster? did you check the fuse? i had the same problem and it was just that the fuse was blown. so it might be as easy as that.

 

The break could be small and you wouldnt even see it. i had a 90 hf and half of the back window would defrost. that car was a P.O.S. I made the misstake of puttin in a cheap remote car starter.( I think bull-dog or something like that) bad idea, it fried my whole system and down hill that car went.

 

use a volt meter they are cheap
