Default Accord Euro R sluggish acceleration

I got a 2000 Accord Euro R. When its hot it seems to have sluggish acceleration on low rpms but once it hits vtec it is fine.

Could someone please let me know what the cause might be?

Could be just something as simple as a tune-up or a replacement of a simple part like the PCV valve or one of the sensors. Try something like that. May help it out.

I think that's just the EX model but is it a V6 or 4 cylinder?

Hmm sounds like the catalytic converter could be clogged up but if that car is a 2000 it shouldn't be that. Or either your egr might be clogged up.
