Default Cap not holding pressure? bad seal

Ok so my cars not overheating, but the radiator cap is not holding pressure. Theres no coolant in the overflow and i think it may be leaking from under the timeing belt cover. Is it a bad seal or is the pump on its way out? Any advice is taken readily thank you in advanced.

Typically when you have the described problem it is that the pump is bad. When the seal/impeller messes up backpressure will result and overflow will occur.

The leak from the timing cover is probably from the weep hole on the water pump. This is the indicator for when the bearing/seal goes bad in the water pump.
