'96 Accord Ex V6 -- My SRS indicator light is on. I was trying to decode it, but I couldn't find the correct connector. I understand the connector is located "behind the right side of dash" according to Mitchell's On Demand. For some reason, I couldn't find the connector. Can someone please tell me where exactly it is located, and what color it is? Once I find it, I just ground the red wire entering the connector, correct? Thanks!!!

 

Its a two pin connector on a dummy holder under the lower glove box brace. Its right next to three pin connector. they both are facing straight up.

 

Oh okay, I'll have to look a little closer, thanks. Then, I just jumper the two wires together, or ground the red wire to recover the codes in the memory, correct?

 

I retrieved an 8-5 code, indicating an internally faulty SRS air bag control unit. Now, I am on the market for a replacement unit. Any idea where I could get one? I imagine these bastards aren't cheap...sigh
