Default 99 Accord 4 cyl fuel issues.

How difficult is it to change the fuel filter and replace the Fuel pressure regulator. Oh, and where are they located?

the fuel filter is intergrated in the fuel pump and the regulator is on the fuel rail. If you don't know where these parts are I wouldn't recomend trying to replace them.

why are you trying to replace them anyway?

I was told that the fuel filter might need to be changed because of the new oxygenated fuel, plus the car has many miles.

well that is a lifetime filter that is not required to be changed who ever told you that doesn't know much about your particular car.

So you're looking to replace a bunch of random parts that may or may not be bad. What exactly are you having "fuel issues" with? What's the problem?

When I accelerate it occasioally surges or feels like it is missing, coughing, running rough. When I get up to speed it is not noticable but will surge. It is not missing however or I would get a code. Plus I have replaced everything Rotor, cap, wires, plugs, PVC.
