Just like the rest of the car, wash and wax it. Clay and polish when needed.

what you should do is take it to a paint shop and have them spray automotive clear coat on it. it will last twice as long. and obviously wash and wax it

i 2nd this, most hoods have a like a boat epoxy gel coat not a clear coat. go get it clear coated and save the money and heartache later down the road.

this would be a good idea but slightly unnecesary. up to you if you wana spend extra money now, or do it a few years down the road.

it doesnt even cost 100 bucks to spray clear coat on a cf hood.

most companies just use resin, and put wax on it.

I have know many people that have had carbon fiber products, from all different companies, and they have all had fading/hazing issues. Like the others said, the absolute best way to keep it in great shape, is to have it clear coated.

i bought a no-name cf hood for my integra 3.5 years ago and it still looks like new (other than a crack from a crash). the hood's never seen the inside of a garage since installation. never been waxed either . guess no-name quality isn't always bad. only cost $350 shipped from a h-t sponsor.
