I NEED YOUR HELP H-T!!!

Cliffs: Cranks no start....wtf?

So I bought my crx and drove it for one day without any problems, parked it in my driveway, had a -40 degree blizzard, next morning it cranks but wont fire. I pushed it into my garage to let it warm up a bit and hooked it up to a charger but still just cranks and cranks. I pop the hood to find my engine bay packed with snow so I let it thaw, tried again later that week and still just cranks. Took off a plug to check spark and it looked like it was getting spark, and I am pretty positive it is getting fuel. Motor is ls/vtec.

I was seeing stuff on here about the main relay, is there any way to check if that is my problem or anything else that could be bad?

I would recommend checking all of your grounds, there's one down by the radiator, one by the starter, the one on the valvecover and maybe more....., I forgot to connect a ground once and it would just crank and not start because of it.

its possible the plugs are fouled from trying to start, take them all out and use a wire brush on them and clean them up. when its that cold you might have to hold the throttle down 1/4 way to start.. I would just get a new main relay as well if it hasnt gone bad its due to soon its good peace of mind for down the road.

check to make sure the rotor in the dizzy did not come off because of the retaining screw...if that is the case, make sure you adjust the the crank is TDC before you put it on, being the timing will be off, I have had this happen twice now, I finally put a type of lock tite on the screw, it will hold the screw but wont be too tight to break loose if needed to change later.it could also be a bad ignitor which I have had happen or coil...3 years of driving then I had the problems, its always something simple and something you never think to check because all you want to do is drive your ride.
