I got an EG with a ls non v. Sometimes while highway driving i will suddenly lose acceleration for about 2 seconds at a time then it will jump back up to normal. I havent been able to reproduce this problem it just happens randomly. Occurs in 4th and 5th gear. Anyone got an idea what this could be?

That is possible. Have you ever replaced it before?

 

No. It recently snapped in the exhaust and i haven't had the time to fix it.

 

well defintitely fix that o2 sensor and also change the fuel filter, and throw some injector cleaner in the tank that can never hurt

 

Start with that sensor, then do a tune up...fuel filter, distributor cap and plug wires, and new plugs. All of that is easy to do, and super cheap (except the sensor).
