1. My friend wants to get a GSR head i believe from a 95-98. Not exactly sure on the year. My question is, if he was to put this on an LS block, running OBD0, which ECU should he use?

2. Would it be possible for him to just use a VTEC controller and stay OBD0?

if your going thru the trouble to do a ls vtec why cheap out and stay obd0?? yes it can be done but do it right and take full advantage of the the vtec, convert to obd1....chip it, cam it, tune it, have a nice day...

 

its possible. but convert to obd 1 while your at it..most programs now are like popular with obd1 easier for tuning..i dont know too many tuners that tune obd0

although i do have an LSV in my sedan obd0 with LS ecu chipped no rev with a vtec controller LOL (ran for more than 6 years like this haha)

 

well it isn't for me, it's for a friend. I told him it's better to go OBD1 but he is also on a budget so yeah. thanks.
