i think you cant run a engine without a o2 sensor...its going to run with a CEL and that means no vtec from what i know....you also need obd1 injector's and the clips

hey i just finished converting my hatch to obd1. took me a couple of hours but i got it.
well to answer your first question, yes you'll need an o2 sensor but if you don't want to run a your car without a o2 sensor, i think you can get your ecu reprogrammed at a performance shop. just take your time and don't take any shortcuts.
lastly, if you want to use the eg harness, you'd have to take out your dashboard and rip out your old ef engine harness and swap it with the eg one.
i think the problems that you'll run into is that the eg plugs will not fit into some ef sockets and also you wasted money on the jumper.

take your time and goodluck!

^ha, yes i concur

if you want to use the eg engine harness, then you will need the eg cabin harness as well. and the eg harness will not connect to your dash. you'd have to swap to an eg dash. this would be a giant pain in the dick, which is why i advise you not to do this.

you will need to have the o2 hooked up and functioning, otherwise vtec will never engage, not to mention the other problems not having an o2 hooked up causes.

obd0 and obd1 injectors are different, but not in cc rating in most casing. its just the fact that obd0 injectors are peak and hold and require the use of a resistor box. if you use obd1 injectors then you can delete the res. box. either way you go you'll accomplish the same thing so it doesn't really matter.
