Icon6 I do not get the right idle..

own 93 del sol si 1.6 sohc vtec, and i bought it from a lady that does not knows how to drive stick tranny..but this car has a automatic ECU (((of course it has the check engine light on))) now when i boght it that car was just fine and i drove it for a year.. now after the year and something of days the engine started to lose the idle. and since then, i never get the right idle, the rev goes up to 3 and then down to 1 in about a second....but the engine does not go off.. it keeps on,.. and everything else is ok but never get the right idle. BUT.. yes i said BUT i notice that sometimes the engine get it right.. yes i suddenly gets steady , but most of the time when i make a stop the idle goes back unsteady and since then i got used to drive it like that, but that unsteady sounds is annoying..
some of my friends said that is my throttle sensor.. but that FR$$# sensor is like welded to the throttle, there is not screw on it.. should i replace the whole throttle body instead?

any advice welcome!!
