ok...heres a question for you guys...my car 95DX has the D15b7...are those motors worth boosting?? or should i go with V-TEC??? (d16z6) I do not want DOHC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and how much power should i expect out of a boosted d15b7...(STOCK INTERNALS with a few bolt-ons)

Have you tried searching? Theres a million of these topics, Also try the Forced Induction forum, But my 2cents. Go D16z6. you can safely boost 225 WHP on those with just ARP headstuds.

 

don't beat your worthless usdm d15, it has really thin rods and does not take to spark knock at all. Swap it for a single vtec, like the jdm d15b, or d16z6, avoid d16y8's i heard they are prone to bearing failure(probly a myth). Start on a better platform and you'll get much better results and long motor life.
