Hi, i just started welding, i went to a technical institute for automotive, they only tought us oxy acetaline for like 3days pretty lame if you ask me. but any way i just bought a hobart flux core/ MIG welder and a couple books on how to weld. I have a trailer i was gunna weld walls on for a start, and then try and build a Freestyle Moto ramp before welding my car. My questions to the experienced crowd out there is , am i looking in teh right direction to start? i figure the trailer will be good practice for laying beads. so yeah what should i start on? what are some good habbits? all that good stuff just trying to get an idea of what im in for.
