As most of you know, im re-doing my entire interior. im in the process of buying JDM SRD Recaros in red at the moment. i cant wait. however, i am trying to figure out what i should do with my back seat!? one of my friends told me to do a custom rear seat delete. mehhh....idk how i stand on that. My other thought was to take my rear EM1 seats and bring them to my Uncles gay brother-in-law who does re upholstery and have him do my rear seats....BUT WHAT!!???!!!
maybe red suede and tweed like the DB8 Type R rears? but i think since i have the red CTR carpet, and the red tweed door panels, and SOON the RED SRD Recaro's. i think it would be over kill and a bloodshot eye sore.
Maybe black suede with a red stitch?
All black suede?
give me some opinions....
TIA

Do the black with red stitch. Thats what I Plan on doing in my EJ1. I just bought some fronts that are black with the red as well as my new shift boot and steering wheel. I think it would like tight in there

If you re-upholster your rear seats to match the recaro fronts I would like to purchase your old rear seat upholstry. Mine is sun faded and white now and if yours aren't I'm interested.

If you can get a deal on having the seats reupholstered, definitely do that. I looked into having some seats re-done and was shocked to find it would run me about $600. If you can't get it done for a reasonable price, dye them black with fabric dye from a can. It seems ghetto, but it works, and it will last as long as you thoroughly clean the seats first.
