Default Brake upgrade

I was wondering if there was a bigger caliper I could put on my 00 Si without braking the bank and buying a Brembo kit or modifying it to put the NSX calipers on. Are the type-r calipers any bigger than my stock ones or would accord or prelude ones fit? Im not road racing, but just want something a little better.

If you're not road racing, why don't you just use a more agressive pad and some better fluid? That's going to give you much better braking power than just a larger caliper.

To use the ITR calipers with your 4 lug, you'd have to have some rotors redrilled to 4X100.

Well I have 149,xxx miles on the stock brake calipers, and it will be time for some new rotors and pads soon so I was going to replace the calipers along with them and wanted to know my options. Better fluid will help? What comes stock DOT 3 right? What should I use then?

Have you tried actually reading it though? As you can see I wasn't the only person who was able to locate that very informative brake thread.

Wait. What? Are you trying to use the search feature? That's not what I meant. Click the post below:

https://honda-tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1513752

That post has a chart of brake setups you are looking for. Scroll down. Read. Enjoy.

This link:

https://honda-tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1998336

Is the FAQ. It has other links to various discussion threads of topics that have been talked about since our cars practically came out. It has engine swaps, brake swaps, interior swaps, exhaust, you name it, it's there. Again, click, scroll down, read, click other topics, rinse, repeat.
